The Knit For Kids Program is Rewarding

The Knit For Kids program is really easy to get involved with, easy to understand and filled with a lifetime of rewards. It works like this:

Grab your needles

Simply start knitting from one of these free patterns or select your own. We accept caps, sweaters and blankets in sizes for babies and children. You have the option to do this by youself, join a knitting group or join an online knitting community. However you wish to do it, all it takes is grabbing your needles.

Send final knitted products to us

Package up your final products and mail them to our sorting facility in Pennsylvania. You can send items all year long. Feel free to include a small financial donation to help offset the international shipping costs.

We deliver your items to kids in need

Our containers filled with your items leave the docks of the US a few times a month with destinations throughout Africa, Asia and parts of Europe. We send the items where the need is the greatest

NOT A KNITTER?

There are still plenty of ways to help the Knit For Kits program.
