What a wonderful 10 years! From the very first sweater we received to the cards, letters and pictures you send us, Knit for Kids participants like you have become a special part of the Guideposts family. And indeed, you’ve been a blessing to needy children living in poverty and underprivileged areas around the world. Knit for Kids knitters and crocheters have generously given of their time, talent, and resources to clothe children from as far away as Thailand, to as close to home as Tennessee. As we ended 2005 over 300,000 sweaters have been received, stamped with your love, and sealed with your special touch.

A SPECIAL YEAR FOR THE CHILDREN

Let’s make 2006 even more special for the children. Just imagine… how wonderful if we could receive and distribute 100,000 sweaters to warm these blessed angels this year! Please join us to celebrate the 10^th Anniversary of Knit for Kids by reaching this most important goal in 2006.

The challenge is great, but together we can meet the needs of these children. Tell a friend, start a group - if each individual knitter or crocheter would do 1 or 2 more sweaters and each group commit to sending 10 to 20 or more extra sweaters, our goal is more than attainable. The children believe in you, as you believed in helping them 10 years ago!
